Welcome to Andalusia, Spain

Tourism in Andalusia

line

Andalusia - autonomous region of Spain, situated in the south of the country. Its components - eight provinces, each of which takes the name from big cities: Cadiz, Cordoba, Almeria, Malaga, Granada, Sevilla, Jaen, Huelva. The many superb Spanish beaches and the perfect climate are the greatest motives to visit this region, but there is so much more. Andalucia is also visited to discover the Spanish culture and the rich Spanish history of the area (like the Moorish Monuments Alhambra in Granada and the Mosque in Cordoba). The Spanish Festivals all over Andalucia from April to October, the hospitality of the Spanish people, and the great possibility to practice golf and water sports are great attractions which make this region so popular.

Andalusia is where all Spain´s stereotypes meet. Bullfighters, beaches, flamenco, white villages, cave houses, gaudy fiestas, religious processions, tapas, and sherry are all here in abundance. But each is part of a larger whole, which includes great art and architecture, nature preserves, and an easy-going way of life.
